1. 71st Army Day was celebrated across India on January 15, 2019. President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended their greetings to the soldiers and their families on Army Day.
2. The Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme 2018-19 (Series-V) opened on January 15 2019, for subion. The issue price of the Bond during this subion period will be three thousand two hundred and fourteen rupees per gram with the settlement date of January 22, 2019.
3. The Chennai Traffic Police inducted a road safety robot into service on January 14 2019, for traffic management. The robot is named as ‘ROADEO’. The robot will help police in traffic management and assist pedestrians in Chennai roads.
4. The Department of Science and Technology, along with Doordarshan, launched two science communication initiatives – DD Science and India Science. The aim is to launch a 24/7 channel dedicated to science. The two channels will have science-based documentaries, studio-based discussions, and virtual walkthroughs of scientific institutions, interviews and short films and will be free to access. While DD Science is a one hour slot on Doordarshan National channel, India Science is an internet-based science channel.

1. 2019 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 15 ஆம் தேதி இந்தியா முழுவதும் 71 வது இராணுவ தினம் கொண்டாடப்பட்டது. ஜனாதிபதி ராம்நாத் கோவிந்த், துணைத் தலைவர் எம். வெங்கையா நாயுடு மற்றும் பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி ஆகியோர் இராணுவ தினத்தன்று படையினருக்கும் அவர்களது குடும்பத்தினருக்கும் வாழ்த்தினர்.
2. 2018-19 ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான சோவியத் தங்கம் திட்டத் திட்டம் 2019 ஜனவரி 15 இல் துவங்கப்பட்டது. இந்த சூரியன் காலப்பகுதியில் பாண்டின் விலை 2019 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 22 ஆம் தேதியின்படி குடியேற்றத்திற்கு மூன்று ஆயிரத்து இருநூற்று பதினான்கு ரூபாயாக இருக்கும்.
3. சாலை போக்குவரத்து பாதுகாப்பு ரோபோ 2019 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 14 ஆம் தேதி போக்குவரத்து மேலாண்மைக்காக சென்னை போக்குவரத்துப் பொலிஸ் சேவையை வழங்கியது. ரோபோட் ‘ரோமியோ’ என்று பெயரிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. சென்னை மாநகராட்சியில் போக்குவரத்து நெரிசலைக் கட்டுப்படுத்தவும், பாதசாரிகளுக்கு ரோபோ உதவவும்.
4.
