1. Gujarat has become the first state to implement the 10% reservation for economically weaker sections of the general category. This comes a day after President Ram Nath Kovind gave his assent to the bill. Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani stated that it will also be applicable to jobs for which announcement has been made but the procedure is yet to commence.

2. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi will head the 7-member committee to look into revenue shortfall being faced by the states after the GST roll-out and suggest steps for augmenting collections.

3. Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling launched the ‘One Family One Job’ scheme, under which for every family one government job has been allotted, in Gangtok. New recruits were taken for Group C and Group D posts in 12 departments.

4. Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Col Rajyavardhan Rathore launched the National Youth Parliament Festival 2019 at a function in New Delhi. The theme of the festival is- ‘Be the Voice of New India and Find solutions and contribute to policy’.

5. A 2+2 Inter-Sessional meeting between the United States and India took place in New Delhi, focusing on the progress of defence and foreign policy issues between the two countries. The Indian delegation was led jointly by Joint Secretary (AMS) from the Ministry of External Affairs Gourangalal Das, and Joint Secretary (PIC) from the Ministry of Defence, Shambhu S Kumaran.

6. Writer Namita Gokhale has won the Sushila Devi Literature Award for her novel “Things to Leave Behind”. She was awarded in the ‘Best Book of Fiction Written by a Woman Author’ category at the inaugural edition of Bhopal Literature and Art Festival (BLF).

7. The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, received the first-ever Philip Kotler Presidential award, in New Delhi. The Award focuses on the triple-bottom-line of People, Profit, and Planet. It will be offered annually to the leader of a Nation.

2. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister சுஷில் மோடி, ஜி.எஸ்.டி. பிறகு மாநிலங்கள் எதிர்கொள்ளும் வருவாய் பற்றாக்குறை பார்க்க மற்றும் சேகரிப்பு அதிகரிக்கும் நடவடிக்கைகளை பரிந்துரைக்கும் 7 உறுப்பினர்கள் குழு தலைமையில் நடந்தது.

3. சிக்கிம் முதலமைச்சர் பவன் குமார் சாம்லிங் ‘ஒரு குடும்பத்தின் ஒரு வேலை’ திட்டம் ஒன்றை தொடங்கினார். அதன் கீழ் ஒவ்வொரு குடும்பத்திற்கும் ஒரு அரசு வேலை ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்பட்டது. 12 புதிய பிரிவுகளில் Group C மற்றும் Group D பதவிகளுக்கு புதிதாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டனர்.

4. இளைஞர் விவகாரங்கள் மற்றும் விளையாட்டுத்துறை அமைச்சர் கேல் ராஜவார்தன் ராத்தோர் புதுடில்லியில் நடைபெற்ற ஒரு விழாவில் 2019 ம் ஆண்டு “தேசிய இளைஞர் பாராளுமன்ற விழாவை” அறிமுகப்படுத்தினார். திருவிழாவின் தீம்- ‘புதிய இந்தியாவின் குரல் மற்றும் தீர்வுகளை கண்டுபிடித்து கொள்கைக்கு பங்களிப்பு’.

5. அமெரிக்காவிற்கும் இந்தியாவிற்கும் இடையில் ஒரு 2 + 2 இடைத்தரணக் கூட்டம் இரு நாடுகளுக்கும் இடையே பாதுகாப்பு மற்றும் வெளியுறவுக் கொள்கை சிக்கல்களின் முன்னேற்றத்தை மையப்படுத்திய புது டெல்லியில் நடந்தது. வெளிநாட்டு விவகாரங்களுக்கான அமைச்சின் செயலாளர் கோரங்கலால் தாஸ் மற்றும் Joint Secretary (PIC) from the Ministry of Defence Shambhu S Kumaran பங்கேற்றானேர்.

6. எழுத்தாளர் நமிதா கோகலே தனது நாவலான “திங்ஸ் டூ லிஸ்ட் பிஹைண்ட்” க்கான சுசீலா தேவி இலக்கிய விருது வென்றிருக்கிறார். போபால் இலக்கியம் மற்றும் கலை விழாவின் (BLF) தொடக்க பதிப்பில் ஒரு பெண் எழுத்தாளர் எழுதிய ‘பெஸ்ட் புக் ஆஃப் ஃபிக்ஷன்’ என்ற நூலில் அவர் விருது வழங்கப்பட்டது.

7. பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி முதல் பிலிப் கோட்லர் ஜனாதிபதி விருதை புது தில்லியில் பெற்றார். இந்த விருது, மக்கள், இலாபங்கள், மற்றும் பிளானட் ஆகியவற்றின் மூன்று கீழ்-வரிசை வரிசையில் கவனம் செலுத்துகிறது. இது ஒரு நாட்டினரின் தலைவருக்காக ஆண்டுதோறும் வழங்கப்படுகிறது.
