i). National Productivity Council (NPC) observes foundation day as Productivity Day February 12 and the National Productivity Week from February 12-18, 2019. National Productivity Council (NPC), an autonomous registered society under Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry NPC is celebrating its 61st Foundation Day on 12th February with the theme “Circular Economy for Productivity & Sustainability”.

 ii). Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a dedicated 24×7 Satellite channel, ‘DD Arunprabha’ for Arunachal Pradesh during his visit to Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Tripura. DD Arunprabha is the Doordarshan’s second channel for the northeastern region; DD Northeast was the first one.

iii). Union Minister for Food Processing Industries Harsimrat Kaur Badal inaugurated Cremica Mega Food Park Pvt Ltd in Village Singhain, Una District of Himachal Pradesh. This is the first Mega Food Park operationalized in the State of Himachal Pradesh. Ministry of Food Processing Industries implemented Mega Food Park Scheme in the country, to give a major boost to the food processing sector by adding value and reducing food wastage.

iv). The Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change signed a Letter of Intent establishing the India-Norway Marine Pollution Initiative together with the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

 v). Indian historian Sanjay Subrahmanyam won the prestigious Dan David Prize 2019 for his work on inter-cultural encounters between Asians, Europeans and people of North and South America during the early modern era. He won Israel’s prestigious USD 1 million dollar award in the category of ”Past Time Dimension” for his work in macro-history.

 vi). The seventh annual World Government Summit is being held in Dubai, UAE. The World Government Summit is a forum dedicated to shaping the future of governments. The Summit is being attended by 4,000 decision-makers from 140 countries including heads of state, ministers and business leaders. The World Government Summit is a global platform dedicated to shaping the future of governments worldwide.

vii). Acclaimed Indo-Canadian filmmaker Deepa Mehta will be given the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television.

i). தேசிய உற்பத்தித்திறன் மன்றம் (NPC) பிப்ரவரி 12 தேசிய உற்பத்தித்திறன் தினமாகவும் தேசிய உற்பத்தித்திறன் தினமாகவும் காணப்படுகிறது. உற்பத்தித்திறன் தினம் 12 பிப்ரவரி 2019 தீம் “உற்பத்தி மற்றும் நிலைத்தன்மையின் சுற்றறிக்கை பொருளாதாரம்”. 

ii). பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி அருணாச்சல பிரதேசம், அசாம் மற்றும் திரிபுரா ஆகிய இடங்களுக்கு விஜயம் செய்த போது அருணாச்சல பிரதேசத்திற்கு 24 * 7 சேட்டிலைட் சேனலை ‘DD Arunprabha’ பிராந்தியத்திற்கு தூர்தர்ஷனின் இரண்டாவது சேனல். ‘DD Northeast’  முதல் சேட்டிலைட் சேனல் இருந்தது.

iii). உணவு பதப்படுத்தும் தொழிற்சாலைகளுக்கான மத்திய அமைச்சர் ஹர்சிம்ரத் கவுர் பாதல், ஹிமாச்சல பிரதேசத்தின் யூனா மாவட்ட கிராம சிங்கைன் நகரில் கிரமிகா மெகா உணவு பூங்கா பிரைவேட் லிமிடெட் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. இமாச்சல பிரதேசம் மாநிலத்தில் செயல்படும் முதல் மெகா உணவு பூங்கா இது. உணவு பதப்படுத்தும் தொழிற்துறை அமைச்சு நாட்டில் மெகா உணவு பூங்கா திட்டத்தை நடைமுறைப்படுத்தி, உணவைச் சேமிக்கும் துறைக்கு பெரும் ஊக்கத்தை அளித்து, மதிப்பைச் சேர்ப்பதன் மூலம் உணவுப் பாதிப்பை குறைப்பதன் மூலம் வழங்கியது.

iv). சுற்றுச்சூழல், வனத்துறை மற்றும் காலநிலை மாற்ற அமைச்சு, நோர்வேயின் வெளியுறவு அமைச்சகத்துடன் சேர்ந்து இந்தியா-நோர்வே மரைன் மாசுபாடு முன்முயற்சியை நிறுவுவதற்கான ஒரு கடிதத்தில் கையெழுத்திட்டது.

v). இந்திய வரலாற்றாசிரியரான சஞ்சய் சுப்ரமணியம், கௌரவமான டான் டேவிட் பரிசு 2019 இல் வென்றார். ஆசியர்கள், ஐரோப்பியர்கள் மற்றும் வடக்கு மற்றும் தென் அமெரிக்காவிற்கும் இடையில் உள்ள இடைகால கலாச்சார சந்திப்புக்களில் தனது ஆரம்பகால நவீன காலத்திய மகாராஷ்டிரா வரலாற்றில் அவரது பணிக்காக ‘கடந்தகால பரிமாண வகை’ பிரிவில் இஸ்ரேலின் மதிப்புமிக்க டாலர் 1 மில்லியன் டாலர் விருதை வென்றார்.

vi). ஏழாவது வருடம் உலக அரசு மாநாடு துபாய், ஐக்கிய அரபு அமீரகத்தில் நடைபெறுகிறது. உலக அரசின் உச்சி மாநாடு அரசாங்கங்களின் எதிர்காலத்தை வடிவமைக்கும் ஒரு அரங்கமாகும். இந்த மாநாடு 140 நாடுகளிலிருந்து 4,000 முடிவெடுப்பவர்களுக்கு, மாநில தலைவர்கள், மந்திரிகள் மற்றும் வணிகத் தலைவர்கள் உட்பட, கலந்துகொள்கிறது. உலகளாவிய அரசாங்க உச்சிமாநாடு உலகம் முழுவதும் அரசாங்கங்களின் எதிர்காலத்தை வடிவமைக்கும் உலகளாவிய தளமாக உள்ளது.

vii). இந்திய-கனடிய திரைப்பட தயாரிப்பாளர் தீபா மேத்தா கனடிய சினிமா மற்றும் தொலைக்காட்சி அகாடமி மூலம் வாழ்நாள் சாதனையாளர் விருது வழங்கப்படும்.
