i). Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated to the nation the 1.33 million metric ton capacity Visakhapatnam Strategic Petroleum Reserve facility at Guntur in Andhra Pradesh. He also inaugurated Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited’s Vashishta and S1 development project located in the Krishna-Godavari Offshore Basin.

ii). A Himalayan Cloud Observatory has been set up in Tehri district to receive forecast and monitor cloud burst incidents in the Himalayan region and help minimise the damage. The Observatory has been established in the SRT campus and is currently in the testing period. This is the second observatory in the country to monitor cloud activities by the Indian Science and Technology Department and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur that can function in high-altitudes.

iii). The Supreme Court on February 11 2019, directed the National Commission for Minorities (NCM) to take a decision within three months on a representation seeking guidelines to redefine the term ‘Minority’. A bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi asked petitioner Ashwini Upadhyay to re-file his representation to the Minority Commission and directed the Commission to take a decision in this regard within three months in the context of a state-wise population of a community.

iv). 72nd edition of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards were presented, Legendary British actress Joanna Lumley hosted the show in London’s Royal Albert Hall.

v). February 10 2019, was celebrated as the first World Pulses Day. The Year 2016 was celebrated as International Year of Pulses to highlight the contribution of Pulses to sustainable food production and towards food security and nutrition.

vi). The ILO Centenary Celebrations in India were inaugurated by Union Minister of State (I/C) for Labour and Employment Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar at V.V. Giri National Labour Institute, Noida. India being a founding member has played an active role in every field of the organization. India has ratified 47 out of 189 ILO conventions during the century which includes all eight core conventions.

vii). Jharkhand Legislative Assembly passed Jharkhand State Scheduled Tribes Commission 2019 Bill with an amendment proposal brought by MLAs Radha Krishna Kishore, Shivshankar Oraon, Ram Kumar Pahan, and Laxman Tuddu. It has been stated that any person having knowledge about history, tradition, custom and culture can be appointed as chairman, vice-chairman and three members of the commission.

i). பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி, 1.33 மில்லியன் மெட்ரிக் டன் திறன் கொண்ட ஆந்திராவில் குண்டூரில் உள்ள விசாகப்பட்டினம் மூலோபாய பெட்ரோல் ரிசர்வ் வசதி கொண்டது. அவர் கிருஷ்ணா-கோதாவரி கடல் கடற்கரையில் அமைந்துள்ள எண்ணெய் மற்றும் இயற்கை எரிவாயு கூட்டுத்தாபனத்தின் வசிஷ்டா மற்றும் S1 அபிவிருத்தி திட்டத்தை தொடக்கி வைத்தார்.

ii). வானிலை முன்னறிவிப்பு மற்றும் இமயமலை பகுதியில் மேகம் வெடிப்பு சம்பவங்கள் கண்காணிக்க மற்றும் சேதம் குறைக்க உதவுவதற்காக டெஹ்ரி மாவட்டத்தில் ஒரு இமயமலை கிளவுட் ஆய்வகம் அமைக்கப்பட்டது. இந்த ஆய்வுக்கூடமானது SRT வளாகத்தில் நிறுவப்பட்டு தற்போது சோதனை காலத்தில் உள்ளது. இந்தியாவின் அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்ப துறை மற்றும் ஐஐடி கான்பூர் ஆகியவற்றின் மூலம் மேகக்கணி நடவடிக்கைகளை கண்காணிக்கும் நாட்டில் இரண்டாவது ஆஸ்பத்திரி இது.

iii). பிப்ரவரி 11, 2012 அன்று உச்ச நீதிமன்றம் சிறுபான்மையினருக்கான தேசிய ஆணையம் (NCM) ‘சிறுபான்மை‘ என்ற வார்த்தையை மறுபரிசீலனை செய்வதற்கான வழிகாட்டல்களைப் பெற மூன்று மாதங்களுக்குள் ஒரு முடிவை எடுக்க வேண்டும் என்று பரிந்துரைத்தது. பிரதம நீதியரசர் ரஞ்சன் கோகோய் தலைமையிலான ஒரு மனு, சிறுபான்மை ஆணைக்குழுவிற்கு தனது பிரதிநிதிகளை மறுபரிசீலனை செய்யும்படி மனுதாரர் அஸ்வினி உபாத்யாயிடம் கேட்டுக் கொண்டார். இது ஒரு சமூகத்தின் மாநில வாரியான மக்கள் தொகையின் பின்னணியில் மூன்று மாதங்களுக்குள் ஒரு முடிவை எடுப்பதற்கு ஆணைக்குழுவை நியமித்தது.

iv).  பிரிட்டிஷ் அகாடமி ஆஃப் ஃபிலிம் அண்ட் டெலிவிஷன் ஆர்ட்ஸ் (BAFTA) விருதுகள் 72 வது பதிப்பு வழங்கப்பட்டது, லண்டன் ராயல் ஆல்பர்ட் ஹால் நிகழ்ச்சியில் புகழ்பெற்ற பிரிட்டிஷ் நடிகை ஜோனா லம்லி நிகழ்ச்சியை நடத்தினார்.

v). பிப்ரவரி 10, 2019 முதல் உலகப் பருப்பு தினமாக கொண்டாடப்பட்டது. 2016 ஆம் ஆண்டின் பன்னாட்டு வருடாந்த ஆண்டாக பருப்பு வகைகள் நிலையான உணவு உற்பத்தி மற்றும் உணவு பாதுகாப்பு மற்றும் ஊட்டச்சத்து ஆகியவற்றிற்கு பங்களிக்கின்றன.

vi). இந்தியாவில் ILO Centenary Celebrations வி வி. கிரி நேஷனல் லேபர் இன்ஸ்டிட்யூட், நொய்டா இல் தொழில் மற்றும் வேலைவாய்ப்புத்துறை அமைச்சர் சந்தோஷ் குமார் கங்கர் ஆகியோருக்கு மாநில அரசு மந்திரி (I / C) திறந்துவைக்கப்பட்டது. கிரி நேஷனல் லேபர் இன்ஸ்டிட்யூட், நொய்டா. ஒரு நிறுவன நிறுவனமாக இந்தியா திகழ்கிறது. ஒவ்வொரு துறையிலும் ஒரு முக்கிய பங்கு வகிக்கிறது. 189 ஐஎல்ஓ மாநாட்டில் இந்தியாவில் எட்டு கோர் மரபுகளை உள்ளடக்கிய நூற்றாண்டில் இந்தியா 47 ஒப்பந்தங்களில் கையெழுத்திட்டது.
