Below are the Group-B & C (Non-Gazetted-Non Ministerial) posts in the Border Security Force, SMT WKSP.

Vacancy Details:

• Post Name: SI (Vehicle Mechanic) Group “B”
• No. of Vacancies: 03

• Post Name: Constable (Technical) Group “C”
• No. of Vacancies: 34

Job Location: All India.

Important Dates for BSF SI Constable Recruitment 2024:

• Last date for submission of Online Application: 17-06-2024

Education Qualification:

• SI (Vehicle Mechanic):  Three years Diploma/ Degree in Auto Mobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a Government-recognized institution.
• Constable (Technical):  Matriculation or 10th class pass from a recognized board or Institution and
  (a) Industrial Training Institute Certificate in respective trade; or
  (b) Three years of work experience in respective trade from a reputed firm.

Age Limit(as on 17-06-2024):

• SI (Vehicle Mechanic): Max. 30 years
• Constable (Technical): Min. 18 years and Max. 25 years (Check the official notification below for the age relaxation).

Selection Procedure:

• Selection is based on Phase 1: Written Examination and Phase 2:  Written Examination (Physical Standard Test (PST),  Physical Efficiency Test, Documentation, Practical/ Trade Test & Medical Examination, Re-Medical Examination).

Application Fee:

• Candidates have to pay Rs. 200/- for the Group ‘B post and to pay Rs. 100/- for the Group ‘C’ posts as an examination fee + Rs. 47.20 as a service charge.
• For SC/ST/ BSF serving personnel/ Ex-serviceman/ Women candidates are exempted from the examination fee.
