Education Qualification:

• Assistant Professor: A Master‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in the concerned subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
  Candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/ SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree by the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016, and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
• LDC: A Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized Institute/ University.
  English Typing @ 35 wpm OR Hindi Typing @ 30 wpm.
  Proficiency in Computer Operations.
• Tabla Accompanist: M.Mus. or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
  Good performance with proficiency in Tabla.
  Experience in Vocal/Instrumental Music as an Accompanist at Music conferences, Radio, etc.
• Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Matriculation from a recognized Board.

Age Limit:

• LDC: Min. 18 years and Max. 32 years
• Tabla Accompanist: Min. 18 years and Max. 40 years
• Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Min. 18 years and Max. 32 years

Selection Procedure:

• Selection is based on education qualification, experience, Written Test, and interview.

Application Fee:

• UR/OBC Category candidates have to pay Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One thousand Only) as an application fee for teaching posts.
• UR/OBC Category candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) as an application fee for Non-teaching posts through a Demand Draft only drawn in favor of “Principal, Vasanta College for Women” payable at Varanasi.
•  Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD category, Employees of Vasanta College for Women, in Varanasi are exempted from payment of the application fee
