TNPSC Typist Recruitment Details, Exam Pattern, and Syllabus 2024:

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released an employment notification for the Special Competitive Examination for the post of Typist in the Employment and Training Department in Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service. The TNPSC Special Competitive Examination is expected to be held on 8th Feb. 2025. The selection process for the SCE Typist consists of a single-stage written examination followed by document verification. The candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for the document verification and the final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the written examination. TNPSC SCE Typist Exam Pattern 2024:

The TNPSC Special Competitive Examination pattern 2024 is given below:

TNPSC Typist Syllabus 2024

  • The exam will be conducted on CBT (Computer Based Test).
  • The exam will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions.
  • The total marks for the exam are 300.
  • The duration of the exam is 3 hours.
  • There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
  • The exam will be bilingual, i.e., questions will be asked in both English & Tamil languages.
  • The exam will cover three subjects: General Studies, Aptitude and Mental Ability Test, and Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test.
  • The candidates have to score a minimum qualification mark of 40% (i.e., 60 Marks) in Part A.

TNPSC Typist Part B – General Studies (SSLC Standard) Syllabus 2024:
