Job Location: Tamil Nadu.

Important Dates for TN TRB Secondary Grade Teachers Recruitment 2024:

• Date of Notification: 09-02-2024
• Starting Date for Submission of Application: 14-02-2024
• Last Date for Submission of Application: 20-03-2024
• Date of Written Examination (OMR based): 23-06-2024 (tentative)

Education Qualification:

• Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known);
  (or)
  Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) by the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002;
  (or)
  Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.);
  (or)
  Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education);
  (or)
  Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known);
  and
• Passed in the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) Paper – I

Age Limit (as of 01.07.2024):

• Max. 53 years (Check the official notification below for age relaxation).

Selection Procedure:

• Selection is based on a Compulsory Tamil Language Eligibility Test, Written Examination, and Certificate Verification.

Application Fee:

• Candidates have to pay Rs. 600/- (non-refundable) as an examination fee.
• For SC, SCA, ST, and differently-abled persons must pay Rs. 300/- as an examination fee.
