TANCET MCA Syllabus is divided into four sections:
- Quantitative Ability: This section tests the candidate’s numerical and problem-solving skills. The questions are based on topics such as number system, arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, etc. The candidate has to apply the concepts and formulas to solve the questions.

- Computer Awareness: This section tests the candidate’s basic knowledge of computers and computer applications.
