Education Qualification:
- Operator-cumTechnician (Boiler Operator): Matriculation with three-year (full-time) diplomas in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical/ Power Plant/ Production/ Instrumentation Engineering discipline from Govt. a recognized institute.
First class Boiler Attendant Certificate of Competency. - Attendant-cumTechnician (Trainee): Matriculation with full-time ITI/NAC from NCVT in a relevant trade only from Govt. a recognized Institute.
- Attendant-cum Technician (Boiler Attendant): Matriculation with full-time ITI/NAC from NCVT in the trade of Fitter/ Rigger/ Electrician/ Turner from Govt. a recognized institution.
Age Limit(as on 18-01-2024):
- Operator-cumTechnician (Boiler Operator): Max. 30 years
- Attendant-cumTechnician (Trainee and Boiler Attendant): Max. 28 years (Check the official notification below for the age limit and age relaxation).
Selection Procedure:
- Selection is based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and performance in the Skill/Trade Test.

Operator-cumTechnician (Boiler Operator):
- For UR/ OBC/ EWS Candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- as an Application & Processing fees.
- For SC/ ST/ PwD/ ESM/ Departmental Candidates have to pay Rs. 150/- as processing fee.
Attendant-cumTechnician (Trainee and Boiler Attendant):
- For UR/ OBC/ EWS Candidates have to pay Rs. 300/- as an Application & Processing fees.
- For SC/ ST/ PwD/ ESM/ Departmental Candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- as processing fee.
