Education Qualification:
- Graduate with holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Examination Certificate or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Examination License in any one Category of Avionics (E, I, R)/ (ES, IS, RN) or (A, C)/ (HA & JE) in Mechanical Stream; and
Total Aircraft Maintenance Experience of three years including one year as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer preferably with experience on the type of Aircraft or Helicopter held by BSF
OR - Holder of Engineering Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics and Telecommunications or Aeronautical Stream or
Graduate with holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Examination Certificate or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Examination License in Air Frame (A) or Engine (C) or (HA or JE) (for Advance Light Helicopters); and
Total Aircraft Maintenance Experience of three years including one year as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer preferably with experience on the type of Aircraft or Helicopter held by BSF
Age Limit(as on 24-06-2024):
- Max. 35 years (Check the official notification below for the age relaxation).
Selection Procedure:
- Selection is based on Phase 1: Written Examination, Phase 2: Written Examination (Documentation, Physical Standards Test, and Oral cum Practical Test), and Phase 3: Interview and Medical Examination.
Application Fee:
- Candidates have to pay Rs. 400/- as an examination fee through online.
- SC/ST/ BSF serving personnel/ Ex-serviceman/ Women candidates have to pay Rs. 40/- plus tax (Rs. 47.20) as a service charge.
