Below are the Group B & C Combatised (Non-Gazetted) posts in Border Security Force, Water Wing 2024.

Vacancy Details:

Job Location: All India.

Important Dates for BSF Group B C Recruitment 2024:

• Starting date for submission of Online Application: 02-06-2024
• Last date for submission of Online Application: 01-07-2024

Education Qualification:

• SI (Master): 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University; and
  2nd class master certificate issued by Central/ State Inland Water Transport Authority/ Mercantile Marine Department.
• SI (Engine Driver): 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University; and
  1st class engine driver certificate issued by Central/ State Inland Water Transport Authority/ Mercantile Marine Department.
• HC (Master): Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent and Serang Certificate
• HC (Engine Driver): Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent and Possessing 2nd class Engine Driver Certificate.
• HC (Workshop): Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent and Industrial Training Instituted Diploma in Motor Mechanic (Diesel/ Petrol Engine), Electrician, AC Technician, Electronics, Machinist, Carpentry & Plumbing for the post of HC (Workshop) Mechanic (Diesel/ Petrol Engine), HC (Workshop) Electrician, HC (Workshop) AC Technician, HC (Workshop) Electronics, HC (Workshop) Machinist, HC (Workshop) Carpenter, and HC (Workshop) Plumber from a recognized Institution respectively.
• Constable (Crew): Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent and
  one year experience in operation of Boat below 265 HP;
  Should know swimming in deep water without any assistance

Age Limit(as on 01-07-2024):

• SI (Master) and SI (Engine Driver): Min. 22 years and Max. 28 years
• HC (Master), HC (Engine Driver), HC (Workshop), and Constable (Crew): Min. 20 years and Max. 25 years(Check the official notification below for the age relaxation).

Selection Procedure:

• Selection is based on Phase 1: Written Examination and Phase 2:  Physical Standard Test (PST),  Physical Efficiency Test, Documentation, Trade Test, and Medical Examination (DME/ RME).

Application Fee:

• Candidates applying for SI (Master/ Engine Driver) have to pay Rs. 200/- as an examination fee plus Rs. 47.20 as a service charge.
• Candidates applying for HC (Master/ Engine Driver/ Workshop) & Constable (Crew) have to pay Rs. 100/- as an examination fee plus Rs. 47.20 as a service charge.
• For SC/ST/ BSF serving personnel/ Ex-serviceman/ Women candidates are exempted from the examination fee.
