Important Dates for SSC Junior Engineer Examination 2025:

• Dates for submission of online applications: 30-06-2025 to 21-07-2025
• Last date and time for receipt of online applications: 21-07-2025 (23:00 Hrs)
• Last date and time for making online fee payment: 22-07-2025 (23:00 hours)
• Date of ‘Window for Application Form Correction’ and online payment of Correction Charges: 01-08-2025 to 02-08-2025 (23:00 hours)
• The tentative schedule of the Computer-Based Examination (Paper-I): 27-31 October, 2025
• The tentative schedule of the Computer-Based Examination (Paper-II): January-February, 2026

Education Qualification:

• Degree in Engineering in a relevant field from a recognized University/Institute; or
• Three-year Diploma in Engineering in a relevant field from a recognized University/Institute/Board;

Age Limit(as on 01-01-2026):

•  Max. 30 years. (Check the official notification below for age relaxation)

Selection Procedure:

• Selection is based on Paper I (Computer-Based Examination) and Paper II (Computer-Based Examination).

Application Fee:

• General/  OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 100 /- (Rs. one hundred only) as an application fee.
• Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) are exempted from payment of a fee.
