Important Dates for SSC JE Recruitment 2022:

• Dates for submission of online applications: 12.08.2022 to 02.09.2022
• Last date and time for receipt of online applications: 02-09-2022 (23:00 Hrs)
• Last date and time for generation of offline Challan: 02.09.2022
• Last date and time for making online fee payment: 03.09.2022
• Last date for payment through Challan (during working hours of Bank): 03.09.2022
• Date of ‘Window for Application Form Correction’and online payment of Correction Charges: 03.09.2022
• Schedule of Computer Based Examination Paper I:  November 2022
• Schedule of Paper-II (conventional): To be notified later.

SSC JE Exam Pattern 2022:

Selection is based on two Papers; i.e. Paper-I (Computer Based Examination) and Paper-II (Descriptive).

• The Paper-I will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions only. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I.
• Paper II will have to be written either in Hindi or in English. Part paper written in Hindi and part in English will be awarded zero marks.

SSC JE Syllabus for Paper I:

Paper I is a Computer Based Examination which is of 200marks and is of 2 hours duration. List of topics for the Paper I have given below:

(i) General Intelligence and Reasoning
(ii) General Awareness
(iii) Part-A: General Engineering (Civil & Structural)/ Part-B: General Engineering (Electrical)/ Part-C: General Engineering (Mechanical)
