SSC CHSL Syllabus 2022 for Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 :

Staff Selection Commission(SSC) released notification and syllabus PDF for Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam (CHSL)  2022. SSC released the tentative exam date for CHSL 2022. SSC CSHL – Government recruitment exam consists of a three-level test namely Computer Based Examination (Tier-I), Descriptive Paper (Tier-II), and Skill Test/ Typing Test (Tier-III). The SSC CHSL 2022 PDF for Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 Syllabus are provided for download in English on this page. Candidates go through the syllabus before starting the preparation for the exam.

Candidates who are interested to apply for an SSC CHSL Recruitment 2022 can apply from 1st February 2022 and the last date to apply for SSC CHSL 2022 is 7th March 2022.

Tier 1 SSC CHSL Syllabus 2022:

  • SSC CHSL Tier -I is Computer Based Examination and is consists of four subjects each having 25 marks correspondingly. The subject names and timings for SSC CHSL Syllabus PDF Tier 1 examination are tabulated below.

  3. Circle and its chords
  4. Tangents angles are subtended by chords of a circle& Common tangents to two or more circles.

Mensuration:

  • Triangle
  • Quadrilaterals
  • Regular Polygons
  • Circle
  • Right Prism
  • Right Circular – Cone, Cylinder, Sphere, Hemispheres
  • Rectangular Parallelepiped
  • Regular Right Pyramid with triangular or square Base.

Trigonometry:

  • Trigonometry& Trigonometric ratios
  • Complementary angles
  • Height, and distances (simple problems only) Standard Identities like sin2𝜃 + Cos2𝜃=1, etc.,

Statistical Charts:

Use of Tables and Graphs:

  1. Histogram
  2. Frequency polygon
  3. Bar-diagram
  4. Pie-chart.

General Awareness:

The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to,

  1. History
  2. Culture
  3. Geography
  4. Economic Scene
  5. General policy, and scientific research.

For VH candidates of 40% and above visual disability, there will be no component of Maps/ Graphs/ Diagrams/ Statistical Data in the General Intelligence and Quantitative Aptitude parts.


Tier-II (Descriptive Paper):

  • Tier-II Paper will be a descriptive Paper of 100 Marks in Pen and Paper Mode.
  • The duration of the Descriptive Paper will be for one hour (20 minutes compensatory time will also be provided to the candidates eligible for a scribe as per Para 8.1 and 8.2 above).
  • The Paper will comprise of writing Essay/ Letter/ Application/ Precis etc.
  • The minimum qualifying marks in Tier-II would be 33 percent.
  • The paper will have to be written either in Hindi or in English. Part paper written in Hindi and Part in English will be awarded zero marks.

Tier-III (Skill Test/ Typing Test):

  • Skill Test/ Typing Test for the shortlisted candidates will be conducted on the computers provided by the Commission or its authorized agency.
  • Skill Test/ Typing Test will be conducted in the cities where Regional Offices of the Commission are located or as decided by the Commission.
  • Errors in the Skill Test will be calculated up to 2 decimal places.
  • Skill Test/ Typing Test will be of qualifying nature.
