Important Dates for SSB Sub-Inspector Recruitment 2023:

• Starting date for online application: 19-10-2023

Education Qualification:

• Sub-Inspector (Pioneer): Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
• Sub-Inspector (Draughtsman): i. Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized board.
  ii. Two years National Tradesmen certificates issued by a recognized Industrial Training Institute or equivalent recognized Institution, and
  iii. One-year certificate course or one year experience in AUTOCAD from a Government Institute or recognized Institution.
• Sub-Inspector (Communication): Degree in Electronics and Communication or Computer Science or Information Technology Engineering or Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized University or Institution.
• Sub-Inspector (Staff Nurse Female): i. Should have passed 10+2 in Science or equivalent from a recognized University or Board or Institution.
  ii. Should have a three-year Diploma in General Nursing from an Institution recognized by the state or central government.

Age Limit:

• Sub-Inspector (Pioneer): Max. 30 years
• Sub-Inspector (Draughtsman): Min. 18 years and Max. 30 years
• Sub-Inspector (Communication): Max. 30 years
• Sub-Inspector (Staff Nurse Female): Min. 21 years and Max. 30 years(Check the official notification below for age relaxation).

Selection Procedure:

• Selection is based on Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Written Examination, Documentation, Detailed Medical Examinations (DME)/ Review Medical Examination (RME)

Application Fee:

• For UR/ EWS and OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 200/- (Non-refundable) as an examination fee.
• SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen and female candidates are exempted from payment of examination fees.
