Education Qualification:
- Chief Fire Officer/Deputy Chief Fire Officer: HSC (10+2) or equivalent with a minimum 50% of marks Passed Divisional Officer’s Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur.
– B.E in Fire Engineering with minimum 60% marks. - Technical Officer (Computers): B.E / B.Tech from a recognized university in any of the following engineering branches with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Station Officer: HSC (10+2) or equivalent with minimum 50% of marks + Valid Heavy vehicle Driving license + Passed Station Officer’s Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur.
– B.E in Fire Engineering with minimum 60% marks. - Sub-Officer: HSC (10+2) or equivalent with minimum 50% of marks + Valid Heavy vehicle Driving license + Passed Sub-Officer’s Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur.
– B.E in Fire Engineering with minimum 60% marks. - Driver-cum-Pump Operator-cum-Fireman: HSC (10+2) or equivalent with minimum 50% of marks + valid Heavy Vehicle Driving license with minimum one-year driving experience + certificate course in fire-fighting equipment such as Fire Extinguisher etc from the State Fire Training Centre.
Age limit(as on 10-04-2023):
- For Chief Fire Officer, Deputy Chief Fire Officer, Station Officer, and Sub-Officer: Max. 40 years
- Technical Officer: Max. 35 years
- Driver-cum-Pump Operator-cum-Fireman: Max. 27 years (Check the Official notification below for age relaxation).
Selection Procedure:
- Selection is based on Physical Standards (Physical Assessment Test & Command Test), Preliminary Test, and Advanced Test.
Application Fee:
- For Chief Fire Officer, Technical Officer, and Deputy Chief Fire Officer has to pay Rs. 500/- as an application fee.
- Station Officer, Sub-Officer have to pay Rs. 200/- as an application fee.
- Driver-cum-Pump Operator-cum-Fireman has to pay Rs. 100/- as an application fee.
- Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) are exempted from payment of Application fee
