i). Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on a 3-day visit to Gujarat. He attended/inaugurated various initiatives at the different venues.

2. PM unveils Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show in Gandhinagar
3. PM Modi to inaugurate 9th edition of Vibrant Gujarat Summit today

ii). Information and Broadcasting Secretary Amit Khare and TRAI Chairman RS Sharma inaugurated the 25th International conference and exhibition on terrestrial and satellite broadcasting, BES EXPO 2019 in New Delhi. The theme for this exhibition is Next Gen Broadcasting in the IT World. 

iii). Minister of State in Department of Space, Dr Jitendra Singh inaugurated the UNNATI (Unispace Nanosatellite Assembly & Training) programme organized by ISRO in Bengaluru, Karnataka. UNNATI, a capacity building programme on Nanosatellite development, is an initiative by ISRO to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the first United Nations conference on the exploration and peaceful uses of outer space (UNISPACE-50).

iv). The second World Orange Festival has begun in Nagpur. The festival, while offering its famed oranges to the world, will also showcase and brand the exquisite fruit in order to boost its export.

v). Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, Suresh Prabhu inaugurated the 10th edition of the India Rubber Expo – 2019 in Mumbai.

vi). Ace Indian female wrestler Vinesh Phogat has become the first Indian athlete to receive a nomination in the prestigious Laureus World Comeback of the Year Award. She has been nominated alongside US Tour Championship winner Tiger Woods, who won his first tournament in five years. The 24-year-old Vinesh from Haryana made a sensational comeback after battling a long injury lay-off to win a gold medal at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games and Jakarta Asian Games.

vii).  India defeated Australia in the third ODI today to clinch the three-match series 2-1. With this, India became the first visiting side to win a bilateral series (two or more matches) in all three formats in Australia.

i). பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி குஜராத்தில் 3 நாள் பயணம் மேற்கொண்டார். அவர் வெவ்வேறு இடங்களில் பல்வேறு முயற்சிகளை ஆரம்பித்து / கலந்து கொண்டார்.

1. பிரதமர் மோடி அகமதாபாத் ஷாப்பிங் விழா -2019 திறந்துவைத்தார்.
2. பிரதமர் காந்திநகரில் வைபிரட் குஜராத் உலகளாவிய வர்த்தக கண்காட்சியை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறார்.
3. பிரதமர் மோடி வைபிரட் குஜராத்துயின் 9 வது பதிப்பு திறந்துவைத்தார்.

ii). தகவல் மற்றும் ஒளிபரப்பு செயலாளர் அமித் கரே மற்றும் TRAI தலைவர் ஆர்.எஸ்.சர்மா ஆகியோர் 25 வது சர்வதேச மாநாடு மற்றும் கண்காட்சியை “terrestrial and satellite broadcasting”துவக்கினர். இந்த கண்காட்சிக்கான தீம் “Next Gen Broadcasting in the IT World” ஆகும்.

iii). கர்நாடகாவிலுள்ள பெங்களூருவில் ISRO ஏற்பாடு செய்திருந்த UNNATI (Unispace Nanosatellite Assembly & Training) திட்டத்தை விண்வெளித் துறை அமைச்சர் டாக்டர் ஜிதேந்திர சிங் திறந்து வைத்தார். Nanosatellite அபிவிருத்தியில் திறமையான கட்டிடத் திட்டம் UNONATI, ISROயின் ஆரம்பகால ஐக்கிய நாடுகளின் மாநாட்டின் 50 வது ஆண்டு நிறைவை நினைவூட்டுவதற்கான ஒரு முயற்சியாகும்.

iv). நாக்பூரில் இரண்டாம் உலக ஆரஞ்சு விழா துவங்கியது. இந்த விழா, அதன் புகழ்பெற்ற ஆரஞ்சுகளை உலகிற்கு வழங்கும் அதே வேளையில், அதன் ஏற்றுமதி அதிகரிக்கும் பொருட்டு நேர்த்தியான பழங்களை வெளிப்படுத்தும்.

v). மும்பை, இந்தியாவின் ‘ரப்பர் எக்ஸ்போ -2019’ இன் 10 வது பதிப்பை சுரேஷ் பிரபு துவக்கியுள்ளார்.

vi). இந்திய பெண் மல்யுத்த வீரர் வினேஷ் போஜட், ஆண்டின் சிறந்த கௌரவமான “Laureus World Comeback of the Year” விருதுக்கு பரிந்துரைக்கப்பட்ட முதல் இந்திய விளையாட்டு வீரர் ஆவார். ஐந்து ஆண்டுகளில் தனது முதல் போட்டியில் வெற்றி பெற்ற ‘US Tour Championship’ வெற்றியாளர் டைகர் வூட்ஸ் உடன் அவர் பரிந்துரைக்கப்பட்டார். ஹரியானாவில் இருந்து 24 வயதான வினேஷ் கோல்ட் கோஸ்ட் காமன்வெல்த் விளையாட்டு மற்றும் ஜகார்த்தா ஆசிய விளையாட்டுப் போட்டிகளில் தங்க பதக்கத்தை வென்றார்.

vii). 3-வது ஒருநாள் போட்டியில் இந்தியா 2-1 என்ற கணக்கில் ஆஸ்திரேலியாவை தோற்கடித்தது.
