i). World Cancer Day is an international day marked on February 4 to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment. World Cancer Day is launching a new 3-year (2019-2021) campaign with the theme: “I Am and I Will.”

ii). Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated Railway electrification of 294-km long Andal-Sainthia-Pakur-Malda and Khana-Sainthia sections in West Bengal. The electrification of 294-km sections will make the transportation of coal and stone chips to North and North East India fast and convenient.

iii). Minister of Railways and Coal, Shri Piyush Goyal launched the International Energy Agency’s (IEA)“The Future of Rail” report which analyses the current and future importance of rail around the world in New Delhi.

iv). Jharkhand International Film Festival (JIFF) was organized by an NGO, Navbharat Nirman Sangh at Ranchi in Jharkhand.JIFF was organized with an aim to present best Indian and International Films as well as Jharkhand Regional Films.

v). ‘ICT Academy Bridge 2019’ the 37th edition of the conference, was inaugurated by Dr.Manikandan, minister of Information and Technology, Tamilnadu. The theme of the 37th edition of the conference “Fostering India for Industry 4.0”.During this conference, ICT Academy conferred ” TN icon award 2019 “ for their contribution to the growth of extensive use of new technology.

vi). Union Minister KJ Alphons has said that the country’s tourism sector fetched 234 billion US Dollar revenue last year, registering a growth of over 19%. He made the announcement at the 2nd ASEAN-India Youth Summit in Guwahati. The country is ranked third in the tourism sector, according to the 2018 report of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC).

vii). The state-run Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) stated that it has unveiled a Human Space Flight Centre at the ISRO headquarters in Bengaluru. The ISRO aims to send humans to space by December 2021 through its Gaganyaan mission. Former ISRO chairman K. Kasturirangan unveiled the full-scale model of Gaganyaan’s crew module in the presence of ISRO’s chairman K. Sivan.

i). உலக புற்றுநோய் தினம் பிப்ரவரி 4 அன்று புற்றுநோயை விழிப்புணர்வு மற்றும் அதன் தடுப்பு, கண்டறிதல், மற்றும் சிகிச்சையை ஊக்குவிக்கும் ஒரு சர்வதேச நாள். உலக புற்றுநோய் தினம், ஒரு புதிய 3 ஆண்டு (2019-2021) பிரச்சாரத்தை தீம் கொண்டு இயங்குகிறது: “I Am and I Will.”

iii). ரயில்வே மற்றும் நிலக்கரி துறை அமைச்சர் பியுஷ் கோயல் சர்வதேச எரிசக்தி முகமை (IEA) “எதிர்காலத்தின் ரெயில்” அறிக்கையை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியுள்ளது. இது புது தில்லி ரயில்வேயின் தற்போதைய மற்றும் எதிர்கால முக்கியத்துவத்தை ஆய்வு செய்யும்.

iv). ஜார்கண்ட் சர்வதேச திரைப்பட விழாவில் (JIFF) ஒரு அரசு சாரா அமைப்பு, ஜார்கண்டில் ராஞ்சியில் உள்ள நவபாரா நிர்மன் சங்க் ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டது. JIFF சிறந்த இந்திய மற்றும் சர்வதேச திரைப்படங்கள் மற்றும் ஜார்கண்ட் பிராந்திய திரைப்படங்களை வழங்குவதற்கான நோக்கத்துடன் ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டது.

v). ‘ஐ.சி.டி அகாடமி பிரிட்ஜ் 2019′ மாநாட்டின் 37 வது பதிப்பு, தமிழ்நாடு தகவல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்ப அமைச்சர் டாக்டர். மாணிகண்டன் தொடங்கி வைக்கப்பட்டது. இந்த மாநாட்டின் 37 வது பதிப்பின் கருப்பொருள் “தொழில்துறை 4.0 க்கான இந்தியாவை வளர்ப்பது”. இந்த மாநாட்டில், ICT அகாடமி “TN ஐகான் விருது 2019” என்ற புதிய தொழில்நுட்பத்தை விரிவுபடுத்துவதற்கான அவர்களின் பங்களிப்பை வழங்கியது.

vi). நாட்டின் சுற்றுலாத்துறை கடந்த ஆண்டு 234 பில்லியன் அமெரிக்க டொலர் வருவாயை பெற்றுள்ளது, இது 19% வளர்ச்சியை பதிவு செய்துள்ளது என்று மத்திய அமைச்சர் கே.ஜெ. அல்ஃபோன்ஸ். குவஹாத்தியில் இரண்டாம் ஆசியான்-இந்தியா இளைஞர் மாநாட்டில் அவர் அறிவித்தார். உலக சுற்றுலா மற்றும் சுற்றுலா கவுன்சில் (WTTC) 2018 அறிக்கையின்படி, நாட்டின் சுற்றுலாத் துறையில் மூன்றாவது இடத்தில் உள்ளது.

vii). பெங்களூரில் உள்ள இஸ்ரோ தலைமை அலுவலகத்தில் மனித விண்வெளி விமான நிலையத்தை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியுள்ளதாக இந்திய விண்வெளி ஆராய்ச்சிக் கழகம் (இஸ்ரோ) தெரிவித்துள்ளது. 2020 ம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 20 ம் தேதிக்குள், இஸ்ஹோன் தனது ககனானியன் மிஷன் மூலம் விண்வெளிக்கு மனிதர்களை அனுப்புமாறு இஸ்ரோ இலக்கு கொண்டுள்ளது. இஸ்ரோவின் தலைவர் கே. சிவன் முன்னிலையில், முன்னாள் இஸ்ரோ தலைவர் கே. கஸ்தூரிரங்கன் முழு அளவிலான மாதிரியான ககனானியின் குழும தொகுதிகளை வெளியிட்டார்.
