Important Dates for RRC Eastern Railway Scouts Guides Quota Recruitment 2025:

• The starting date for submission of the application is 09-07-2025 at 10:00 Hrs.
• Last date & time for submission of application: 08-08-2025 at 18:00 Hrs.
• Tentative date of Written Exam: 2nd week of October
• Date of Document Verification: The call will be within 10 days from the publishing of the result of the written exam

Education Qualification:

• Level – 2 (Group ‘C’): Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent Examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate, from the government-recognized Education Board/ Council/ Institution, etc.
  – 50% marks are not to be insisted upon in case of SC, ST, ESM, and PwBD candidates and candidates having higher qualifications from a UGC-recognized university.
  OR
  10th pass from a Government-recognized Board plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC)/ ITI approved by NCVT (Diploma in Engineering is not considered as an alternative higher qualification).
  – Scouting/ Guiding Qualification
• Level – 1 (Erstwhile Group ‘D’): 10th pass from the Government-recognized Board
  OR
  – 10th pass from the Government-recognized Board plus ITI/National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) approved by NCVT
  – Scouting/ Guiding Qualification

Age Limit(as on 01-01-2026):

• Level – 2 (Group ‘C’): Min 18 years and Max 30 years
• Level – 1 (Erstwhile Group ‘D’): Min 18 years and Max 33 years. (Check the official notification below for age relaxation.)

Selection Procedure:

• Selection is based on Educational Qualification, participation & winning medals in national (including All Indian Railway Events), state, and district events. (Check the official notification below for the complete selection process)

Application Fee:

• Candidates must pay Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) with a provision for refunding Rs. 400/- (Rupees Four Hundred Only) to those who appear in the written examination. (UR-Male, OBC-Male, EWS Male Rs. 500/-)
• Candidates from SC, ST, Ex-servicemen, PwBD, Women, Minorities, and Economically Backward Classes must pay Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty Only) with a provision for refunding the same to those who appear in the written examination.
