Important Dates for RRB Technician Recruitment 2025:
- Starting date for Submission of Online Application: 28-06-2025
- The last date for Submission of the Online Application is 28-07-2025 (23:59 hours)
- Last Date for Application fee payment for the submitted applications: 30-07-2025
- Dates for modification window for corrections in the application form with payment of the modification fee: 01-08-2025 to 10-08-2025.
- Dates during which eligible scribe candidates must provide their scribe details in the application portal: 11-08-2025 to 15-08-2025
- Tentative date for Computer-Based Tests (CBTs): Between October and December 2024.

Education Qualification:
- For Technicians Grade I Signal: Bachelor of Science in Physics/ Electronics/ Computer Science/ IT/ Instrumentation from a recognized University/ Institution, or B.Sc. in a relevant field from a recognized University/ Institution,
or
3 years Diploma in Engg. in the relevant field
or
Degree in Engg. in the relevant field - For Technicians Grade III: Candidates with a 10th pass and ITI in a relevant field from a recognized institution/ board.
Age Limit(as on 01-07-2025):
- Technician Gr. I Signal: Min. 18 years and Max. 33 years
- Technician Gr. III: Min. 18 years and Max. 30 years. (Check the official notification below for age relaxation.)
Selection Procedure:
- Selection is based on a Computer-Based Test, Document Verification (DV), and Medical Examination (ME).
Application Fee:
- All candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- as an application fee. (Out of this fee of Rs. 500/-, an amount of Rs. 400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st stage CBT).
- SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen/ Female/ Transgender/ EBC candidates have to pay Rs. 250/- as an application fee. (This fee of Rs. 250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st stage CBT).
