Job Location: All India.

Important Dates for POWERGRID Diploma Trainee Recruitment 2024:

• Starting date for Online Submission of Application and online payment: 22-10-2024 17 00 hrs
• The last date for Online Submission of Application and online payment: is 12-11-2024 23 59 hrs
• Availability of Admit Cards on the website: Will be notified separately on the website
• Date of Written Test: Tentatively in the month of January/ February 2025. The exact date will be notified separately on the website

Education Qualification:

• Diploma Trainee (Electrical): Full Time Regular Three Years Diploma in relevant discipline of engineering – Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering/ Power Engineering (Electrical), from recognized Technical Board/ Institute with a minimum of 70% marks for General/ OBC (NCL)/ EWS Candidates and pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD.
• Diploma Trainee (Civil): Full Time Regular Three Years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Technical Board/Institute with a minimum of 70% marks for General/ OBC (NCL)/ EWS Candidates and pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD.
• Junior Officer Trainee (HR): Three years full-time Graduate Regular Degree – BBA/ BBM/ BBS or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institute/ University with not less than 60% marks for General/ EWS/ OBC (NCL) category candidates.
• Junior Officer Trainee (F&A): Inter CA/ Inter CMA
• Assistant Trainee (F&A): B.Com. with a minimum of 60% marks for General/ OBC (NCL)/ EWS and pass marks for SC/ST/ PwBD.

Age Limit(as on 12-11-2024):

• Max. 27 years (Check the official notification below for the age relaxation).

Selection Procedure:

• Selection is based on a Written Test/ Computer-Based Test (CBT), Computer Skill Test (CST) (wherever applicable) & Pre-Employment Medical Examination.

Application Fee:

• For the Posts of DTE/DTC/ JOT (HR)/ JOT (F&A)
  Candidates (Other than SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM) must pay Rs.300/- a non-refundable application fee.
• For the Post of Asst. Tr. (F&A)
  Candidates (Other than SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM) must pay Rs.200/- a non-refundable application fee.
• SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Ex-SM candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
