Any Bachelor’s Degree from a Recognized University in the Indian Union in 10 + 2 + 3 pattern with English, Tamil or Telugu as Subjects.
Must have fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and translating Tamil to English and English to Tamil.
Must have fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and translating Telugu to English and English to Telugu. - Interpreter (Hindi):
Any Bachelor’s Degree from a Recognized University in the Indian Union in 10 + 2 + 3 pattern with English and Hindi as Subjects.
Must have fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and translating Hindi to English and English to Hindi.
Must have fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and translating Tamil to English and English to Tamil. - Interpreter (Kannada):
Any Bachelor’s Degree from a Recognized University in the Indian Union in 10 + 2 + 3 pattern with English and Kannada as Subjects.
Must have fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and translating Kannada to English and English to Kannada.
Must have fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and translating Tamil to English and English to Tamil. - Interpreter (Malayalam):

Selection Procedure:
- Selection is based on Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Viva-voce.
Application Fee:
- For BC / BCM / MBC & DC / Others / UR candidates must pay Rs. 1000/- for each post as an examination fee.
- SC/ SC(A)/ ST/ Differently Abled Persons and Destitute Widows are exempt from examination fees.
